Welcome/Bienvenue! Our research is concerned with understanding the fate and behaviour of contaminants in remote regions of our planet. Due to its peculiar reactivity, toxicity and ubiquity, we developed a great interest in the study of atmospheric mercury chemistry and its cycling in the Arctic and the Antarctic. As part of the Institut des Géosciences de l'Environnement, our approach combines lab, field studies and monitoring of the atmosphere, the snow and ice. We have also developed interest in microbial/chemical interaction in the snow and in the atmosphere.
